Male Sexual Health Screening

Male Sexual Health Screening

Sexual health clinic London is a private clinic that provides confidential testing for STDs and other sexually related diseases. Our work is accurate, and we produce results within the shortest possible time. We offer the following male sexual health screening packages.

Quick Expert HIV Test

We offer a quick and confidential expert HIV test at the sexual health clinic. Our DNA HIV test is very accurate and provides the results on the same day or the next day at most. At our sexual health clinic, you can be sure of accurate test kits in a prestigious laboratory.

Early HIV Screen

In our Early HIV Screen, we use very accurate DNA (PCR) testing to detect the presence of HIV 1 and 2 and even hepatitis C as early as ten days after exposure. The results are usually obtainable within four to six working days.

The Premier Male Screen

We use this screen to test for sexually transmitted diseases (STD) after four weeks of exposure. It is a blood test, and its results are usually ready within 24 hours at our sexual health clinic in London.

In our premium male screen, we test for:

  • Rapid blood testing: for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV DUO test, and syphilis. The results are usually available within 24 hours at our clinic.
  • Gonorrhoea and chlamydia swab and urine test. The result for the regular method will be ready within 48 hours, but the optional fast track test will be prepared within 24 hours.

HPV Vaccine for Genital Cancer and Genital Warts (New Gardasil 9)

You can now stay immune to about 9 subtypes of HPV by taking the new Gardasil 9 vaccine. The previous version of this vaccine could only protect against 4 types of HPV: types 6, 11, 16, and 18.

This new version protects against the high-risk HPV, which are subtypes 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58. These subtypes are responsible for about 90% of cervical cancer and HPV-causing anal cancer.

Approximately 90% of the genital warts cases are caused by the low-risk HPV subtypes 6 and 11.

Who is eligible for this vaccine?

Everyone between the ages of 9 to 27 is eligible for the new Gardasil 9 vaccine. However, the first dose should be administered before the patient’s 27th birthday, and the other doses should be received within 12 months after the first dose.

This vaccine is highly effective and well-tolerated. However, it works best if administered before the patient contracts the HPV infection.

Our sexual health doctor will inform you whether the vaccine is suitable for you or not.

How is it administered?

This vaccine is administered in three doses, with each shot given within six months. You will choose the first date for the administration of the first dose, and the second dose will be administered two months after. You will receive the third dose six months after the first.
