Trichomoniasis testing can be done today. Walk-in or contact us if you are experiencing any symptoms or believe you have been infected and need testing.
Trichomoniasis is a common parasitic sexually transmitted infection (STI) infection causing mild symptoms but can also be asymptomatic. If left untreated however Trichomoniasis can cause serious health problems.
Our healthcare professionals are available to offer treatment and discreetly manage this condition.
If you are experiencing symptoms or had unprotected sex.
Early detection to prevent the risks linked to pregnancy and the spread of the infection to others and possible re-infection.
To reduce complications resulting from the infection i.e. increased risk of other STIs like HIV and infertility.
Trichomoniasis spreads through sexual contact.
Condoms can reduce but do not always eliminate the risk.
Trichomoniasis doesn't usually go on its own but requires prompt medical treatment.
Re-infection is quite possible so it is important to get tested and treated as soon as you can if you believe you have been exposed. Alternatively your symptoms may be a different or co-existing STI.
